SME 4.0 Center of Excellence Stuttgart

Transfer topics

Under the banner of “Digital in BW”, the SME 4.0 Center of Excellence Stuttgart offers a wealth of practical support on digitalization for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in the Baden-Württemberg region. The Center of Excellence has two points of contact: one in Karlsruhe and one in Stuttgart. We show SMEs how they can effectively integrate digital applications into their value creation process. “Through practical examples and training sessions, participants learn how they can enhance technology, organization and workflows. Optimization of their business processes in this way enables SMEs to develop new service offerings and tap into new markets.

The Center of Competence focuses on the following key topics and questions:

  • Production How can digitalization be used to connect production processes in order to boost value creation and better support production employees?
  • Mobility How can digitalization enhance the usability and profitability of mobility solutions and support the development of new mobility services?
  • Construction How can digital solutions efficiently support work processes and cooperation models for building projects and drive forward the development of new business models?
  • Healthcare How can digital work processes and intelligent products provide needs-based assistance in healthcare and effectively facilitate the work of those involved?
