 The »Care 2020« showcase in the inHaus2 in Duisburg illustrates how technical assistance systems can help people remain independent in the latter years of life.

Real-life application scenarios demonstrate how senior citizens can lead the kind of social life they want and remain safe, despite limitations imposed by their health.

In addition to interior design based on the very latest insights, an intelligent lighting system enables residents to get round at night, while supporting the individual’s rhythm of day and night. A nutrition coach provides residents with a diet tailored to their own needs, a remote monitoring system automatically transmits vital data, while a so-called »family TV« provides contact with friends and family.
