Carina Müller

The »Smart Urban Environments« team researches and designs innovative concepts for urban and rural living environments, including cultural and hospitality environments. It does this by combining methods from technological impact assessment, data analysis, scenario technique and living labs.

In addition, as part of the Heilbronn Research and Innovation Centre (Fraunhofer HNFIZ) for Transformation and Governance, the team supports organisations in designing their transformation processes and develops governance structures that promote transformation.

A particular Our focus is on the integration of data-based decisional foundations, the analysis of social and spatial dynamics, and the implementation of participatory development processes. Through interdisciplinary research, practical model projects, and close cooperation with partners from administration, business, and civil society, the team generates valuable impulses for the transformability of future living spaces and ecosystems.
