Spotting and utilizing trends early on

Part of strategic corporate planning involves monitoring and evaluating current trends in technology, society and the marketplace. Still, the sheer pace of change and the ever increasing flood of information present small and medium-sized companies in particular with significant challenges.

At Fraunhofer IAO, we help our customers spot and tap into the potential of new developments. On behalf of our customers, we

  • systematically evaluate large quantities of data such as databases, scientific papers, press releases and patents,
  • identify and document relevant developments,
  • visualize these developments and help interpret them and
  • if desired, offer support while converting trend analyses into specific recommendations for action in the area of innovation management.
