The Software Management Competence Center supports its customers in the conceptual development, selection and implementation of company software throughout the course of each project.
This includes not only enterprise content management (including document and workflow management), business process management, master data management, enterprise resource planning systems and customer relationship management systems, but also the development and setup of individual solutions. Fraunhofer IAO’s experienced staff support customers from the initial requirements analysis to the start of operations, regardless of which manufacturers and products they work with.
Tried and true methods and procedures ensure a goal-oriented and user-centered approach to conceptual development (for instance of IT strategy, IT landscape/architecture and IT systems), requirements analysis, selection of complex software products and implementation of supporting services (including process optimization, support for change management processes, and IT service management analyses). The direct connection to research gives companies the opportunity to get to know innovative software technologies at an early stage and exploit their potential.
