The Mobility Concepts and Infrastructure Competence Team conducts research into the development, implementation and industrialization of sustainable mobility concepts, both on the regional and international markets.
The technological shift toward electromobility, coupled with the demand for new, sustainable mobility concepts for urban and non-urban areas, is increasing the demands placed on cities and companies in industry. As part of individual industrial projects as well as others sponsored on the national and international level, the competence center develops strategies and system solutions that aim to realize sustainable mobility in line with market requirements.
Current projects include drawing up future scenarios for the construction and volume of electric drives, determining implementation guidelines for bringing electromobility into European cities, and developing business models for commercial electromobility. What’s more, cross-sector association projects are working on identifying competitive opportunities for market players and opening these up for exploitation.
